What is paragliding?

If you wish to soar through the air like a free bird, paragliding can get you quite close to this feeling. This adventurous activity that originated long back in 1940, is now counted among the most popular adventure sports. All you are required to do is simply lay out a wing on a hillside or mountain, get it inflated over your head like a kite, run a few steps before you take off the ground andfulfill your life-long dream of flying high in the air. Once in air, you will be able to maintain your flight and even gain altitude. When you need to land, you are just required to steer your paraglider towards the landing area and glide down back on the earth.
